Countershaft oil seal replacement, gen 1

My bike has developed an oil leak in this area:mad::mad::mad: . It is only really noticable if you leave it parked for a long time, but annoying nonetheless. Anyone know if these seals can be replaced from the outside without having to tear apart the motor? I guess its time to buy a shop manual:banghead:

It turns out it was the shift shaft cover. The oil pooled around the countershaft seal making it look like the culprit. I made my own gasket out of RTV and no more leak, even after a whole day of track riding :D
