Damper Flap On Rear Frame

Hey guys,

I had the tail off to tidy some wiring and check what map the P/O had on the PCV. Somehow I came up with this random flap but I can't figure out how it goes back on or what it protects (maybe the R/R?).

It is #24 in the picture, the fiche calls it "Damper, Locating 3" which doesn't help much. Any one have a good description of how to install or picture to share?

Just thought I would add a photo of the actual piece in case it would jog someone's memory. Surely someone has messed around in the tail end and seen this piece and where it goes?

*It is foil on this side and black on the opposite side.
