Well I just installed the danmoto jisu exhaust on the fz1... First it sounds pretty good! (Tried publishing to YouTube but having som trouble) it sounds low key at idle but boy it can rumble when going maybe a little to loud for some folks without the db killer installed. What I did notice how ever is how restricted these bikes are with power with the factory stock exhaust..... Holy cow it is quit a gain in HP.... The exhaust looks pretty good fit pretty good except for the strap I had to do a mod to mount it. Oh also spits a little if you g
Let go the throttle after you thrust a little but you can control it if you want.so all and all what should you expect for the price I paid $145.00 shipped to my door from china in 6 days?? Better the stock!

jezynyza.jpgpe5a7y3u.jpgI am very please with those too. I have them custom made one to use for the FZ6R and FZ8. Bang for the buck its a really nice slip on. But I agree with you... they didn't spend the $ on the strap!

I think rabbitman on the forum had this done for his fz1 by Martha, looked wicked....

Marthy - anyway to make that midship exhaust work with the center stand? I really love the look but I don't wanna lose my center stand, think we could work something out for this winter?

Edit: don't mean to hijack!!! Was just rambling.... Exhaust does look great doe

I could. All I need is a FZ1. I made it work with a FZ8...

Fuel? New bike or new pipe or a combo

Ok had a short spin last night and as I said in my first post the exhaust seemed to pop on deceleration almost like to much gas getting dumped in during decrease in throttle....

1.My question is is that normal for this type of pipe with no db killer?

2 both me and my wife filled up and I seemed to have burned a lot more fuel then her on the fz6. Would that be the engine size. The exhaust causing dumping fuel or the float reading different for the tank and of course the obvious all 3....

For all you guys who made the switch up to the FZ1 was there a big furl consumption difference?

Thanks

Very clean chuck, love the look with the full fairing... It's got a similar style to the stock can but I like the angularity.

Marthy - ill send you a pm after work today

I had a Danmoto Jisu on my previous bike - great slipon, very light, nice sound, cheap as chips

It looks very well on the Fizzer, & probably less than half the weight of the stock POS

answers to your issues. you need block off plates to get rid of most of the popping. and a dyno tune. and yes it's a cheap as hell exhaust so you're going to get what you paid for, it's going to fall apart in about a year

Is that based on personal experience? I'm coming up on 2 years on my Delkevic carbon now, which was nearly as cheap ($185). Zero issues.

I put 40K miles on my cheap Viper can. I changed it for the Danmoto Jisu because I got tired to look at it.
