My front brakes are really touchy I barely pull the lever and they start grabbing the problem I have with this is I have to pull the brake quite a bit before the switch engages and triggers the tail light and at that much pull I would be doing stoppies every time I came to a light or slow down, my rear brake engages fine but I don't always use my rear brake and I'm worried about someone behind me not noticing me slowing down because my tail light not engaging, the switch trigger you can hear it tick when I pull the lever far enough so as far as I can tell it's not a faulty switch I have crg levers just wondering if anyone else has this issue and if they have a solution, I don't hardly have any free throw in the lever before engagement, if I only had like another .075 -.100 thousands of an inch worth of travel it would be no concern. Any help would be appreciated.

I just looked and there is no stock levers.. 🫤 I just took a few pictures of how far out the switch goes before it clicks the first is closed second is just before click and 3rd is after when light actually kicks on.

I am wondering if all the switches have this "late" of an engagement and if so maybe I could file off a bit of that aluminum so it would allow for it to click on sooner? I would hate to have filed off some and then have the switch go out later and replace it and have it keep my brake light on all the time...

Maybe I am misunderstanding what you mean but if the switch needs to come on sooner wouldn't you need to add something between the switch plunger and the lever to engage it sooner?

Switch engages when it is let out, so if I file some material off it allows the switch to stick out a bit more which In Turn allows it to click on sooner, I decided to give it a go and filed some off just to see and now it clicks way sooner that it previously did, I don't know if this was the right way to fix the issue lol but now it seems to work better now les brake pressure is allowing it to come on sooner, I only had to take off about .05 of an inch
