nope was a shoot out sorted by ride magazine here in the uk and the gen 1 seriously wooped a$$ but got stuffed in the twisties

the gen 2 makes power higher up the rpm by which time the grunt of the gen1 can pull a full bike lenth

ps the gen 2 was modded with can and the gen 1 was ivaned

so gen 1's rock

Awesome. Thats why I am glad to have purchased a GenI. I wouldn't change it for anything. Now if I was 25 years younger???? I might opt for an R-1.
