handlebar risers!

looking at buying risers! 1inch up 1 inch back! can i use stock cables ? i hope so? hydrallic brake cable looks tight? 2007 fz1

i just bought a handlebar setup that's higher and further back than stock; i'm not holding my breath for the cables to reach far enough. i shall be pissed if they don't though!
i think you could make the clutch reach, but the brake - probably not?

Should be ok with everything besides the brake hose may be tight. Others have rerouted the other cables and made them work. I didn't even have to do that on my 2006

Use thread lock. I have them and they work great.

I did 1 up and 1 back. Rizoma from PJs parts.
Everything reached.

follow up post:
with my new rizoma setup, which is the tallest bars & tallest risers, all cables reach fine except brake lines. i may go in and free up a little clutch cable, but that appears to be asking a lot. i know some have rerouted the clutch cable, but it does not look fun at all.
