headers glowin bright red

My 03 had sat for a while when I was away for the military I cleaned the carbs ran sea form and did a complete fluid flush I can't figure out why my headers are glowing? Also it will idle for a short time and the cutt out what can I do to fix it?

Check for vacuum leaks. Sounds like it's running real lean. Is it all the pipes?

yes it is all the pipes i went check all the seals are good and i cleaned all the crabs jets and all

Don't run it until you figure it out. If you're running too lean, you risk burning holes in your pistons.

Are they stock header? Some aftermarket exhaust use very thin wall headers.
