Well thank you for the welcome everyone. I dont have any pics
of the bike yet, but soon. I think you will like the pic i have uploaded
asumeing I did it right. I have only had the bike a few weeks, but
I figured no time like winter for modifications. So I started out with
a Yoshi carbon fiber slip on, power commander 3, and for looks a
Werks fender eliminator. It dyno at 142 hp, not a bad start,

I do wonder "where do I go from here"
 
I dont know what to tell ya. Its an 09 FZ1, I had a shop set the chip on
a dyno (duh), and thats the number that came out. The dude that did it
said he was kind of surprised how high it came out himself. He said from
the factory the same model bike can go about 5 hp either way. Guess i
got a good one. He wasent able to get me a torque number without taking
apart some of the bike. Also I wanted to post some pics but the storage
box where I keep it was a sheet of ice, I figure you guys know what an FZ1
looks like anyway.
 
Well not that the Yamaha home page will tell you, but from other sites they
rated the stock engine at 150 hp (06-09). Of course we all know that it doesent meen its putting 150 down to the ground. Between visiting porn sites I was able to find a couple of dyno graphs of FZ1 s with after market parts. And they
all varied between what parts were added on and so forth. Most of the charts recorded between 130 and 137 hp. Now most of these sites would also sell you the exhaust you were looking at so i kept it in the back of my head that the numbers might of been false. So I dont know maybe they wernt. Also the dude that ran my bike on the dyno said it was the first 09 he had done. Maybe there were some minor changes on this year. I dont know
