Been doing them for yrs on dirt bikes. I got feel of how long those can last. How long do you all typically see on your FZ1 wheel bearings?

I had to change my front wheel bearings on my 2009 FJR around 122K miles. Back is still fine. My 2009 FZ1still has good bearings on front and back.

That is good. How many miles on your 09’?
I put 50K miles on my 2005 and never had any wheel bearing issues. I'm just short of 60K on the 2012, and no issues. I do repack the bearings every time I have a wheel off, and it seems to be serving me well.

360K on two Gen 1s that share three sets of wheels. Only one bearing failed and it was because I forgot to replace the rear spacers. I don't repack all I do is put wheel bearing grease around the lip of the seal on the outside of the bearing to prevent moisture getting in.

35K
