Installing Gen 2 caliper seals question...

Is there any particular way or direction the caliper seals are to be put in? I see nothing about this procedure in the manual. Ive installed seals on other bikes, gsxr to be exact that requires the seals to go in in one direction. On the gxsr seals, one edge is tapered so the piston retracts easier. Anybody know what im talking about?
 
i don't remeber the orings being different on one side from the other. i believe it's just a square-cut edge through and through. i just did mine less than a year ago, f & r, but nothing noteable is in my memory. look closely and pay attention to how it comes apart is my best advice!
