Hi guys. I'm at Intermot in Cologne, Germany. I talked to one of the guys from Yamaha, and snapped some photos of something that's VERY interesting.
It's a 3 cylinder engine, according to Yamaha inspired by the crossplane engine, and it will be around 900cc. This will probably hit the market in 2014. I think this is going to be a badass crossplane crankshaft 3-cyl with a shitload of torque and a funky sound. I imagine that the FZ1 gen 3 will get this engine. I can only hope for at least 150 hp

Amazing news, and not a moment too soon. I was toying with the thought of buying a brand new KTM, but now I can wait to 2014
