Proper loading, connecting, and the sense to slow down will prevent this from happening. That trailer was pretty light, but it looks like the hitch came off the ball because either the ball was too small for the hitch or it was never secured.

Well the trailer height from the ground to the loading area on the trailer is only about 18"-24" i think which should help. Along with me being a safe driver.

I was just amazed at the price of these trailers. You could probably find an enclosed trailer for that kind of dough. Did you look at the Harbor Freight Folding MC Trailer? It's a fraction of the price and just as good.
