I use a PCV, I just added 2% that was enough for me, it pops very rarely mainly when I do large altitude changes in combination with temperature changes.
I cut the hose coming out of the airbox. Then install 2 yellow wire nuts, inverted. Put a small zip ty around the hose to make sure the wire nuts dont come out. Ive checked it for vacum leaks, all good. Theyve been in there for 40K miles now.
When I started getting the coil issue, I got good at lowering the radiator.
