New Gloves

Well, I needed new gloves. My Helds blew out on the finger tips. My Alpinestars GP Pro gloves have lots of wear. I had to use some Shoe Goo to repair the patch of crappy leather they put on the palm and thumb. Other than that, they are OK. I decided to go with the Helimot gloves. They are made just a couple miles from where I work. The owner, Helmet, is an extremely friendly guy. He took time to have me try on several pairs of gloves to ensure I like the fit. He took me into the back and introduced me to the ladies that make the products he has designed. He showed me the whole process, the raw materials. The super fabric he found is incredible. It's kevlar that is sprayed with liquid carbon. He laid a piece over a steel block and hit it with the 1800 degree heat gun for about 2 minutes. No heat was transferred to the block. This stuff is used mainly in aerospace applications and is VERY expensive. I have added photos for comparison
