Greetings from the Pacific NW. I just returned from the dealer with a new, 2008 Grey FZ1. I've ridden motorcyles for 30 years, but this is my first liter bike. Looking forward to learning and contributing on the forum.

"Shiney side up" works too.

Nothing unique about the FZ1 in these photos-except this one is mine!
Why manufactures don't make a middleweight "standard" with
with this quality of component parts, i.e. suspension, brakes and ride dynamics, I'll never know. (Honda's 599 comes closest in my opinion) But at this point I really don't care-cause the FZ1 is fantastic!

Take your time to ride the bike (for at least a month) before you start to tear into it with Mods (performanced based if you so desire) and such.

Nice lookin' ride....
