Last winter, I promised my mom a dawg for her birthday/Christmas present. Unfortunately she got sick so I waited until she got better before I started looking again. Last week on the way home from her doctor's appointment, we saw a sign leaning against a mailbox advertising the exact breed she wants and she made me turn around to ask about it.
I picked up her dawg this morning. She's calling him Sarge.

She's a happy old broad but she's got her hands full. He was born in March and is a lot younger than what I was looking for. He's smart, seems to be fearless, and has a great dognality. I'm tempted to stash him in tank bag and take him for a ride!
As usual, our current dawg has gotten a taste for puppy food and is contemplating whether or not she likes him. She was the youngest dawg for so long until the others died and left her alone for the past year or so. I'm thinking I'll get another akita next year some time.
