Well they are interchangeable from a fitment perspective, but stock Gen I is 44T vs 45T for stock Gen II.

Remember that the a 46 tooth is the largest rear sprocket that will fit, using the stock chain (116 links) and 16t front sprocket. A 47 tooth rear sprocket will work with stock chain,if you use 15 tooth front sprocket. I use a 16/47 combo with a 118 link after market chain. The 46T from the FZ6 will fit the FZ1. FYI
