RPM's 2008 FZ1

When I'm going 65 mph my rpm's are about 4200, when I'm going 55 they are about 3500. This is in 6th gear and I'm wondering is this what you guy's are getting? Thanks

Sprocket (frt/back)

from factory (Gen I) allow a ~5% error vs speed shown. Changed gearing, change the percentage.

Through a speedohealer on, set up with the correct error calculation, and you might be surprised at your actual speed/rpm.

I changed to a 15/47 combo and had an error precentage of 11.1% (based of speed from GPS)

In the lower speed/rpm, it was much closer (probably due to my error in trying to read the GPS and ride) But once I got into the higher speeds it was pretty consistent.

So, for illustration purposes:

55 shown was 50 actual
66 shown was 60actual
77 shown was 70 actual
90 shown was 80 actual (difference from 11.1% baseline....probably my error)

Anyway, I eliminated my buffer for the LEO, so now I have to make sure I don't get "twist the wrist" syndrome b/c the speed clocked at are probably pretty close to actual traveled.
