Ok so I ordered some frame sliders from motovationusa and they look quality and a buddy of mine has gone down on his and they hold very well. So they are quality sliders but they mount so low on the FZ that I fear it wont protect much. So I am thinking about having a buddy making me some race rails with small pucks on the end to mount higher for more protection.
Anyone have experience with this? I've been down twice in my riding and both times were without sliders. The sliders WILL protect the bottom portion of my frame for a lil bit so they will do their job. And the race rails will protect the top portion of the bike a lil better. Anyone have any experience or tips on where/how to mount the race rails???
