Installed the horn today. Used the stock, flat bracket from the oem horn and same mount hole on the lower triple clamp. Worked out easy. Only thing I don’t like is the spade connectors coming off the bottom of horn. They are a little more exposed than I’d like. A friend gave me the horn, but probably would not use a 10$ amazon harness in the future. And will probably change out the wiring for something more adequate when something fails. But had to get the horn installed asap.

The last two days I had a car each day in the lane next to me on hwy just start merging over. I was right next to them! How could you not see me through the window! Anyways, could barely even hear the failing stock horn.

Rode around the hood beeping the horn, that thing is loud.

Definitely sounds like a huge upgrade from the stock one, especially when dealing with cars not noticing you. If you're concerned about the exposed spade connectors, you could try using some heat shrink tubing or rubber covers to protect them from the elements. That should help keep things safe and reduce wear over time.
When you get a chance, upgrading the wiring would be a good idea—using higher-gauge wires and a better harness will give you more reliability in the long run. But for now, at least you’ve got a loud horn to keep yourself safe!

Great points. I am going to heat shrink it. And update. I really don’t like the relay up in the front of the bike.
Thanks.
