Ventura tail bags

I use the Ventura Luggage rack system and like it....

I have been in a couple of bad downpours and it has held up well although I do use inner dry bags as well.

Been happy enough with mine,I agree they are expensive, purchased mine secondhand.They have a water proof cover but I find it more trouble than its worth, I use plastic bags inside for clothes etc.
 
I use the Venture system on my bike every day to commute to work....rain hail shine. Its great. They come with a rain cover for really heavy rain and never once has my gear been wet after a 30min ride. It may be a bit expensive but its good quality.
 
Agree that they are pricey. Like others, I bought mine 2nd hand - that makes them a great value.

The need to make different tube mounts for each bike Im sure adds to the cost.
Either this or the other forum had a set of used for sale.
 
I have the ventura seat bag expandable too. Expensive ??? Only if you don't know how to barter my imola was £78 I got it for £65 free p&p.
