Fan ?'s

Maybe this is answered somewhere but I didn't see it.

Do both fans come on at the same time or are they staged? My left one comes on at around 212 but the right one doesn't. Just asking before I go tearing into the bike.

They both come on at the same time. Check the fuse, they are fused separately.

If you are unsure where the fuse box is:

Thank you!! I will check the fuse and go from there. When I got the bike the po had cut the wires on the fans instead of removing the plugs. He thought that the fans needed replaced after the bike was damaged. Not so they just needed tweeked.

Most likely if the bike was in an accident, and the fan was met with resistance, it blew the fuse to keep from burning up the motor. Good luck!! :tup:
