Need advice

My 2003 FZ1 has a hole in the engine casing it's leaking big time. It has a few cosmetic problems as well. I seen a 2002 FZ1 on craigslist for cheap with about double the miles....But 6000 miles ago the guy who owns it rebuilt the engine with practically all new parts. So my question is if I buy the cheap 2002 Fz1 will the engine casing and other parts fit on my 2003 fz1?

I believe 2001-2005 it was the same engine, etc on the bike. Considered Gen 1's.

Also if you really want to verify, then you can use a website like partshark.com PartShark.com - Motorcycle Parts, ATV Parts, UTV Parts, PWC Parts, Powersports Apparel, Motorcycle Accessories for OEM and Aftermarket. and look at the individual microfiche, write down the part numbers you are needing, then look up the other year bike than what you have and see if the part numbers match.

All the parts are the same for 2001-2005. No problemo bud!
