The book says each fork adjusts different dampening rebound and compression how can they be on sperate forks? maybe i'm too dumb to understand the manual. I know the preload is the 16 mm nut on top of the forks. how can the two clickers adjust two separate things? HELP

Just think of the forks as a unit. Whatever adjustments you make to one leg affects the unit as a whole.
