need help taking the fairing off

I want to go all the naked with my 2003 fz1, can anybody steer me in the right direction to do this the easy and cheapist way. I like the way my old kz looks from the front and wouldnt mind something like that as far as the single head light so any suggestions would be great

You do have to be careful though, going fully naked is illegal in some states...and the road rash hurts too.

I don't believe so. That is for the GenII bikes.
