you,ll find a big difference.i,ve always found the bigger cc bikes easier to ride.you can change gear a lot less because there's more torque across the rev range.you'll love it.enjoy.

bar end mirror. if you look on the gallery you'll see my fz with a small bar end mirror.i've used this type of mirror on a few naked bikes and it really works.stock mirrors are usually in the wrong place or very badly vibrate and i reckon the stock fz mirrors aren't much good.the bar end mirror...

rearsets i,ve got gilles rearsets on my 2008 fz1.i,ve set them as high & as far back as possible.they are not uncomfortable riding normally but i,m 5ft 4.you would never scrape the pegs.

hiya.i,ve had import bikes before,they were fine.a few things to think about are make sure its not restricted,also i looked at a 2 year old fz1 last june before i bought a new one.it turned out the used one was an import & my yam dealer told me it wasnt a uk colour so maybe getting colour...

i've got a 2008 naked fz1.love it.it felt a bit flat compared to an r1 but after a mivv gp can,power commander and 1 tooth smaller front sprocket you can hardly tell the difference.its a rocket if you're in the mood or trundles along very nicely if you're in a sensible mood.

lowering fz1 hi there el dog73.the company 'hyperpro' do a lowering kit for the fz1.its £95 uk money.hyperpro products are for sale on loads of different websites.i looked at the sidestand on my fz1,i think its just steel tube so there is no reason not to cut it then weld the foot part back on...
