How visible is the mounting bracket for the side bags? Does it interfere with a passenger on the bike? Can you take a passenger with the bags installed?
My biker rage story happened when I was in my 20s. I was driving through town, 4 lanes, on the inside lane planning to turn left at the next intersection. The cage in the outside lane decides he wants my lane and starts to change lanes. I am beside his driver's window and blow my horn while I...
Whe I first bought my 2006 2 years ago the battery was weak so I replaced it with a gell style (don't remember the make) considering that the battery is laying down. No problems since then. As for push starting, it's pretty much the same as a car. Get up to a good speed (someone pushing or a...
Well Norm between yourself and Eric you've convinced me and I just ordered my new seat yesterday. Since they had a 10% holiday discount I couldn't resist. The only problem now is that I won't be able to try it out for around 4 months when the snow finally melts up here.:canada flag:
Sorry to see things like that, but the truck driver wasn't paying much attention either. He didn't apply the brakes until the bike was already half way down the side of his truck.
Nice pictures, thanks for posting them. I like to see all the places that I hope to get to once I'm allowed to retire lol! For now enjoy the trip for me as well.
My son just got the Go Pro and I was amazed at the quality of the video. I've seen video cameras that didn't have as good a quality video. I'm not telling him about this price though because he paid a lot more for his.
The odds are about the same here. I lost a friend a few years back when a woman pulled out in front of him. Same excuse, "I didn't see him". The only thing she was charged with was improper turn. Should have been vehicular manslaughter in my opinion.
:ditto:I would have to plead guilty to all of the same charges you just admitted to. One additional one of which I'm guilty is when I first leave my road in a highly spirited manner which is frowned upon in Ontario (stunt driving charge, oops).:nono:
I don't know if they do it down there, but up here they use a tar substance to fill in the cracks that appear on the highway surface. When these get wet they are as slippery as ice and more dangerous because they wander werever thay cracks went.:wilynily:
Done. All my best to her, It's nice to hear of somebody willing to work so hard towards something they want (her degree) instead of complaining about how hard life has treated them.
