That sound is usually attributed to the cam chain tensioner...

I mistakenly ordered a new stator (instead of rotor) and decided to keep it. I finally ordered the flywheel rotor from RM Stator and will be installing them both this weekend…

When doing the carbs make sure to replace the valve needle seat O rings and check for crud in the seal surfscr

Not sure of the brand name, I think it was Powerbronze or Puig... but I used to have the exact same one on my 08 FZ1 and I got it on Ebay.
It seems the belly pans for our bikes are becoming hard to find and the prices have gone up quite a bit. You may get lucky searching Ebay...
