Sounds like Nakagami has signed on with LCR Honda for 2018. Great news! I hope he does well -- it'll be great to see a Japanese rider on the grid again. Abraham rumoured to have signed another year deal with Aspar, too. I like Abraham so I'm happy to see him getting another shot at it.

Both generations of FZ1 are very dependable. The carb bikes are very reliable but like anything with a carb, if it was neglected, it'll need some TLC.

I feel for Sam, he deserved to be on a team that gave him half a chance; they were talking publicly about replacing him months ago. Not good for the relationship. I'm glad for Scott but I hope Aprilia doesn't do to him what they did to Sam. I wonder who will ride the Marc VDS bike next to...
