    My Next Triple

To be fair the STR is a $15,000 motorcycle brand new. Not sure if that covers the expense of brembo, lighter rims and premium Ohlins suspension. My main issue with the FZ9 was the wooden suspension and that fact that the engine case cover on the right is right where my shin should be. I just...

    My Next Triple

Speedy is home safe and sound from the dealer. What a great ride home. I don't want to give up dirt and dual sport so the DRZ is not going anywhere. I just don't ride enough to justify keeping the Tiger. Although, I probably wont put it up for sale until I know I will be happy with the...

    My Next Triple

The ONLY thing I liked about the FZ09 was the engine. Besides the Speed is more in line with the power of the FZ1 which is what I missed.

I would love to do that.

Brenham, Tx. And Surrounding Area Weekend Ride...

I see a very cool Triumph Tiger in there. Wonder whose that is!

    My Next Triple

I am likely going to put the Tiger up for sale in the next few months.

    Lead Weights

I have been on several long rides (170 - 250 miles) lately with none of the issues I used to have. Other than a little stiffness at the incision locations which will eventually work out. No numbness. No pain. I can enjoy riding again! I wish I would have done the surgery years ago.

What are your 2016 trip plans?

Well I hardly rode at all in 2015 and I need to make up for that. I am thinking of heading east this year to visit my sister in Greenville, South Caroline. If I do that I will take a southerly route through New Orleans, North through Atlanta and then on to Greenville. On my return trip I will...

    ***Happy Birthday Brad (Hail)***

Thanks all! Sorry I missed this on the actual day but I was recovering from my wrist and elbow surgery. Recovery is going very well BTW!

    FZ1in...... TX?

You are going to have to get out of your comfort zone and head out to the hill country. ;)

    FZ1in...... TX?

Don't know how I missed this but I am very happy to hear this to say the least! We need to get Pyrogenic to host another group ride. He has a great lake house near Canyon lake that can be our rallying point. I can't wait to see how many years it is before you decide you hate the summer here...

    Lead Weights

These days the same thing happens driving the car or sitting down to eat dinner. It just becomes unbearable only when riding the motorcycles. I actually have risers on my triumph and my DRZ. I am excited to know there is an actual fixable problem.

    Lead Weights

I am working quite a bit too Bill. I have not been riding much lately. I did manage to get in an 850 mile trip a few weeks ago. That was when I decided I had to get something done about this issue. :)

    Lead Weights

While the fishing weights helped me I had ongoing issues with FZ1 and every other bike I have owned since. 5.5 years later I finally decided to go see an orthopedists specializing in the hand. He ordered a nerve study. I just had that nerve study done today. The results indicate I have...

What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

Nice! I wish I would have started dirt riding you. I always tell my friends that if they see me that high in the air they should be dialing 911 before I even hit the ground. :)

636 miles on the FZ1 is an impressive feat. I don't care what aftermarket seat you have.
