    FZ8 Rear Suspension Arm Failures

Seems like the FZ8 receives even crappier quality parts from Yamaha. We never had the stock brackets failing on either forums .. Ah for frame cracking .. that was the 06 bikes and few of the 07s

    Before and after pics

If that is the case then the DOT seems to be pretty pissed on Yamaha... Triumph, Kawasaki, etc seem to come up with much stylish DOT certified signals ..

    Before and after pics

Cleans up the bike nicely .. why Yamaha still puts those stupid looking signals, donnow??? BTW, wrong section .. this is the naked bike section..

    Dustin's New Bike Thread

That Wee seems to be the best bet to me. I kinda like them for their practicality - poor man's ST bike ..

    Throttle Body Sync DIY

LOL, I figured out the fully locking them in and backing out 1 turn tip by myself after chasing this issue. Basically START FROM SCRATCH for your peace of mind. Here is my thread elaborating my syncing woes: TB Sync - High Idle Issue - FZ1OA Message Board

What did you do to your FZ today?

I am embarassed to say that I trashed my PR2 in 6-7k miles and mine looked bald almost all over the tread. I think I overused them by like 1-1.5k miles ...

    Ram waterproof cellphone mount

Those Arkon type cases are better as you can use the touchscreen too. You can find similar on ebay for like $10 shipped. I have 3 of them in different sizes.

    Bogie checking in!!

That is amazing Bogie. The meal plan you have outlined is a fantastic and the ONLY way of healthily losing weight. I had done this for 2-3 months to lose 40 lbs for 206 to 165. Now I am back up to 176 with muscle gain.

    Dustin's New Bike Thread

OK, I got to take this shot: If you resist the temptation to ride it like a maniac, it will give good mpg ... I have hit upto 48 mpg on it ..

Delkevic exhaust: I am no longer a fan.

I also run a scorpion CF that I scored for almost free. It is smoother, quieter than my Micron GP and matches the bike well. The no need for repacking sold me on Scorpion too - warranty doesn't matter at that point....

    2014 Yamaha Street Lineup

The new N1k just hit the FZ1 out of the park for a homerun - ABS, traction control, power modes, taller 6th gear, new panniers, remote preload, upped power, new instruments ...

Anyone else feel emasculated by this........

HOT, no doubt. But what is that chest protector for - stunter uniform for the sake of it? No other gear otherwise ... looks like she just got out of a discotheque ...

What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

KTM definitely is better than Ducati.. and probably more value ..

Delkevic exhaust: I am no longer a fan.

Never buy a CF ehaust from a cheap vendor. I will stick to SS or Ti. I really like the Danmoto Jisu exhausts .. seems less risky... Danmoto CF are known to melt and burn through the CF...
