Anyone here with Pirelli Diablo Rosso III

I agree, they are an excellent tyre. I've got just over 7,000 klms on mine and there is still plenty left in the centre. I keep my pressures fairly high though @ 35F and 40R psi. They still grip really well and I get great mileage out of them too.

    Mirrors Question (Nut is stuck)

The right mirror has a left handed thread, so you are probably going the wrong way. You need to turn in a clockwise direction to loosen.

    Stator Removal

This seems to be happening all too frequently these days. What year model bike was it and how many miles were on the clock?

    Aftermarket slip-on

Again, it's entirely up to you. You can save a poofteenth of extra weight by removing it. I left mine attached to the bike. The servo motor works in ignorant bliss, oblivious to the fact that there are no cables attached to it. It's been like that for the past 8 years.

    Problem at 7000 rpm

Hi Patrick, Check for a kink in your fuel line. It's a common problem that may explain your over 7K rpm problems. There is a fuel line mod that I and others here have done. A quick search for "Fuel line Mod" should be all it takes to find the write up. Sent from my LG-H870DS using Tapatalk

    Rearsets

I have LighTech rearsets. They took me a while to set up correctly and the Aluminium heel guards scratch up very easily but I like them.

Anybody heard of or have this exhaust?

I've never seen that one before. Looks a bit like a Micron.

    Chain noise

If you used an aftermarket front sprocket then this would account for the extra noise, as the stock front sprocket has rubber noise dampeners on it.
