I went and replaced my SV650 risers with some FZ8 riser bottoms mated to FZ1 top. If someone is interested, I'll sell the SV650 risers.

Just installed some FZ8 risers and Mototech signals.

I was really tempted to do the same thing, still am actually. I love the look. Shave off the tabs on the headlamp and go. May find a small speedscreen to cover up a few of the wires, etc.

Just got this installed no Friday, but still waiting on the signal plates to come so I can mount the signals. The kit is 100% Yamaha factory parts from a 2011 Fz8 and bolt up was easy with more than enough room to wrap all the extra wiring behind the headlight assembly.

That's pretty cool and a very simple and smart rail system. A lot of folks tend to over think when building stuff.

Partially what I'm looking for, 2 or 3 line setup. I'm thinking 2 line might be better. I'm also looking into lower rise bars, maybe some Ultra-Low Road's or some Off-road Carmichael bars. Once I get the Fz8 lamp on the bike, I may just go clip ons, but I'm not 100% on that one yet.
