Saw this in a post and am curious! A member stated you could disable the ais system by unhooking the small line from the # 4 cyl intake boot, I am thinking this is the line that opens and closes the ais valve, if unhooking this disables the ais , it is alot easier than plugging the big line at...

If just blocking the # 4 intake hose to the ais disables it, seems like everyone would do it, its alot easier than blocking off the tube from the airbox to the ais?

Just curious about this mod, does blocking off the hose to the # 4 intake boot disable the ais, or does the lack of vacum on it make the ais think your off the throttle and kick in the ais, meaning have the oppisite effect you are wanting?
