OK, so I'm coming into this story late. I pretty much use only Bosch or Mobil 1 filters. They were highly recommended on the FZ1OA site, and I have never had an issue with them.
Strangely enough, I don't see the filters I use on the lists.
What I see on the lists are the Mobil M1-108 and Bosch 3300,
These aren't the ones that I use, and not the ones that the FZ1OA site guys recommended.
I use the Mobile 1 M1-110, or the Bosch 3323.
A lot of the FZ1OA guys swear by the supertech filters from Walmart. I can still get the Mobil 1 filters at Walmart. They don't carry the Bosch anymore, so I don't have to go to a stealership for an OEM or to an auto parts store and pay more. These filters fit the Gen I FZ1 and the Gen II FZ1, and also both of my cars, so I keep a stock on hand. I have used the Purolators before, but I think the Bosch and Mobil 1 filters are better. They are built better and appear to have the best filtration / flow / durability characteristics of any that the board guys could find tested.
