A friend of mine had a blue one back in the days. I rode it few time... those were bad a$$ for the days. That thing was all nice and sweet until it hit 8K then BANG!!!

That was my first bike 
To this day I have great memories of it and I'm sure nice clean ones are hard to find these days. Only bike that was faster back then was a friend's ZX-11. Here's a few pics of mine back in the day:

A nice clean '87 was just on eBay and got $4250 in bids w/o meeting reserve. Have the feeling it got sold for around $4300-4400 offline.

Not much info on the FZR 1000 on Wikipedia. Perhaps you guys should add your knowledge. :2cents:

So Craig did you ever pull the trigger on it? I saw the ad and that is one to definitely pick up...one owner and super low miles. Plus asking price was reasonable too if condition checks out in person!

No I didn't I'm holding out for something I want more. I just bought that ZRX1100 last fall and have been getting it up and running

I saw more pics of this particular bike. It was all there, but had some rust on most bolts (like it had been kept outside) and didn't quite look as nice.

It's nice to see some good pics of FZR's. Here are mine I'm fixing up. The yellow one is a 96 600 with D&D pipe, polished wheels, stage 3 jet kit, airtech body work. The black one is a 91 1000 with 94 body work, polished frame and swingarm, yosh exhaust, 1040 kit.
