2001 FZ1 Front Fork Removal

How do you recommend lifting the front of this bike to rebuild the front forks?

First Gen Bikes are easy. Just put it up on the center stand, have someone push down on the rear of the bike and slide a regular "gallon size" paint can under the exhaust header and you are ready to work!

I use centre stand, then a jack under the headers, with a piece of wood in between jack and headers.

I typically just put a strap under the bars and hang it from the hoist.
