2003 Fz1 Bumble Bee edition repainting

Hi guys,

I got a bumble bee edition FZ1 and I wanted to know if some of you repainted theirs?

I know you'll be dissapointed, but I want to replace the yellow parts for black ones. Do you know if the gas tank is black underneath the yellow sticker? Also, what would be a reasonnable price to repaint the front plastic and the rear one?

I'm not sure what color it is but all you have to do is remove the bolt at the top of the gas tank. Once that bolt is removed, the tank is held by 2 hinges (where the seat meets the tank). Simply lift up the top of the tank and look.
It will take less than 5 minutes.

I too would like to have your bee upper fairing! Looks a line has formed for parts!

Really I just need the decals for the upper fairing, but retail prices for the things are ridonkulous!

I would trade it, but for a black fz1 (01-02 made them)

If I paint it, I have to repaint gaz tank, front plastic and rear plastic. It's about 4-5 square foot or surface...
