2006 Blacked out FZ1

have my 2006 FZ1 with 8500 miles on it for sale. I have blacked everything out on this bike. Has highway pegs on it. Sliders, shorty levers, aftermarket puig screen, CD flies, lars air box mod, handlebar risers, danmoto exhaust. I had both the rider and passenger seats covered in carbon fiber material with memory foam. The tires have about 1500 miles on them. Just changed the oil, coolant, brake fluid this past weekend. Bike is is great shape. If you have any questions just ask.

Curious... what is the strap hanging down the side of the engine? And what is it connecting to? Did you drill a hole in the frame to mount that?

All blacked out is really a sight! Nice job!

It is striking all blacked out. I think the strap things are the mentioned "highway pegs". If I remember correctly, thor32766 comes from a cruiser background and has a blacked out Suzuki M109 that fits his taste and riding style a bit better.

Sorry you have to sell. Good luck with it. I hope you could at least keep one bike.
 
thanks BDazzler! Yes they are highway pegs. the guy who owned the bike before me custom made them. Still got the 109R. I am just selling the FZ to go full sport touring. Like a concours or FJR.

price is 4400

I will leave the FCE on the bike as a gift.

Can you please update the original post with the new price? Sweet deal!

FWIW, I think you will find the Concours C14 to be the better bike so long as you get a 2010 or newer. The '09 C14 had a lot of issues.
 
Awesome--blacked out beauty you have there Thor !! I just sold my Black-'01 FZ1 yesterday. In fact, I'm waiting for the check to clear as I write this. I told myself, I wanted a different colored one next time around . . . but, DANG-- I see this one posted. I do like your "DARKER" style ! Mine was BLACK . . . but NOT that BLACK , , ,heh, heh, heh I am very much tempted to go for yours. I also wanted a GEN-2 for sure this time . . . . I wish you were closer to me. A round trip to Florida would cost me $400. just in gas to pick it up and bring it back. Very tempting . . . . . .
