2016 MotoGP Discussion Thread *SPOILERS*

I've been every year bar 1 (made redundant and swapping jobs the same week as the race) since 2010. The facilities were improving until last year, and now it's in rapid decline. Have sat in every grand stand except Gardner straight (who incidentally might be out of Jail by now?? Former motorcycle great Wayne Gardner spends son Remy's Moto2 grand prix in Japanese police cell - ABC News (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) ). We still like Siberia the best, but Lukey heights is also good. Bass not so much.

I can't believe they left Moto3 so long before red flagging the race! that was crash fest and I hope all the riders are OK, I saw one was being air lifted to hospital, but didn't see any results.

Well done to Zarco for defending his Moto2 world title, all classes are now wrapped up.

Well done to Dovi, I think that was a fantastic result and adds one more winner for this years list. I think this record will stand for quite a while.

Now, go back 2 weeks and say rossi n Jorge don't crash out, the title chase would of come to Valencia.....

Huge props to dovi, about time he had a win.

I enjoyed that MotoGP! Very happy to see Dovi take his second win ever. Well deserved. The battle between Rossi and Iannone was great but I was scared for Andrea when he went down. I'd hate to see him aggravate that injured neck.

I was rooting for Baz to take a podium but it just didn't work out for him. Seems that the Hondas were not working well at Sepang, especially in those conditions.

Moto3 was crazy. I didn't see Moto2 yet but I will try and catch it tomorrow morning

That Q2 was absolutely incredible. Non-stop action and the guys were riding out of their skins! Lorenzo gave it his all and completely annihilated the lap record and the rest of the field.

And the best news of all? Kallio and KTM weren't last! Not only did he beat Rabat and Hernandez, he did so by a pretty good chunk!

Lorenzo is currently 5th 1.124 seconds off first place (Marquez)
Iannone 3rd fastest on the Suzuki and Vinales 4th fastest one the Yamaha.

The results of day 1 testing.
Looks like Lorenzo will still be up the front and Rossi now has Vinales to contend with.
Iannone is quite fast too.

Testing, which took place from 10am to 5pm, continues on Wednesday...
