Thought I might introduce myself . I'm 67 and have been rideing for over 50 years. Owned 41 bikes to date. Out of all my bikes in which I've owned the ONE bike that I keep going back to since 2001 is the GEN1 FZ1'S. For me it's almost perfect. If it had real cruise control it would for me be perfect. I have owned many bikes that I sold then went back to. In other words, 6 previous bikes I've owned twice. But with the GEN1 FZ1'S I am now on my 5th one! Last one I sold was in 2021. Starting in just 2017 I bought a new FZ10, ( many cruisers also) , then I bought a new 2021 Tracer GT 900, then a used MT-03, then a new 2021 MT-07, ( got rear ended on that one), then a new 2022 Rebel 1100 ( thats my 2 up bike) , then a new 2022 XSR900, then a new 2023 MT-07 . Well I decided to get another GEN1 FZ1, I regret selling my last one. So I found this 2004 mint Blue FZ1 with only 12,000 mi on it. Let the mods begin, lol. Here are some of my FZ1'S from the past I've owned. The blacked out and blue one was my 4th one I recently sold, . But I have another one now, . The skunk color model I had custom painted the Kenny Roberts colors.

Sold the XSR900 cause it started to handle funny after 6K mi. So I put new tires on it and had it professionally set up for my 200lb weight. Just about everything was on full max settings. Needs heavier springs ect. Decided to move on. The MT-07 is a great bike for the mtns where I live, 55+ mpg average and the best feeling and sounding CP engine out of them all with the CP4 coming in second and the CP3 coming in last with or with out aftermarket exhaust.
