Airbox mod

Hi guys.
I'm a newby here. Had a bit of a look around seen some great ideas & discussions. One in particular is the airbox mod. Can anyone let me know what it is and if it applies to my '07?

Hi Dean, I'm not an expert on GenII bikes but I searched for you on this site and didn't come up with the "how to" on the airbox mod. I know it's available on the "other" site if you want to go and check. Just go to search and type in "airbox mod". You should get a bunch of threads that explain the process. I just did the airbox mod on my 2008 on Sunday. I descreened my stock filter instead of replacing.

Made a significant difference in overall engine power.

The other site has many instructions and photos and there is a FZ1 air filter replacement video and well as Copperdog' flies video on you tube which would help.
