AIS, Did I block off the wrong hose?

I did a few Google searches and may have been reading gen 2 threads. They all said to lift the gas tank and remove the air box cover. And they all said the hose was on the bottom of the air box on the left / clutch side. This hose was in the bottom left and it was the only hose I saw inside the air box. It seemed to help / noticeably reduce but not totally eliminate the popping. The bike is an 01 FZ1. If I did block the wrong hose does anybody have a picture of the right one?

I don’t remember from when I did it. Especially don’t remember a hose inside the air box. I thoght the hose connected to a port on the front of the box and needed to be capped off.

Regardless………….. re-read Pat’s procedures and see iff that helps

Thanks for posting that. I saw it before but when I saw the radiator removal etc I said heck with all that. But I’m glad you posted it because I took a second look at the photos and realized I blocked off the wrong hose. Hopefully I got the right one this time.
