Anyone else had an awesome ride today?

The rear indicators were already on the bike when I got it, they are mounted where the stock ones usually are.

The fronts I swapped out for the same chinese ones I used on my XT125 renovation, they are tiny but unfeasibly bright! I mounted them instead of one of the bolts on the join between the main fairing and side panels

Wow! They are small. Didn't even notice them. Clean look!!

Got out today for 350 mile ride upstate with my buddy. Weather in the high 70s perfect. The FZ1 is running Great. The ride was great till we hit the Garden State Parkway for the last leg at rush hour on Friday with everyone going towards the beach. That added an extra forty five minutes to the ride . Oh well take the good with the bad.

You can get the T33s from Rocky Mountain ATV for about $311.00 plus tax right now with the $70.00 rebate, which I guess represents a good deal these days.

How many miles are you getting out of T33s, by the way?
I ended up going with a set of Pilot Road 4s for $375. 180/120.

Did three 225 mile days last week. Surprisingly cool temps for late June.

I had two sets of Road 4s before I went to the Road 6. I loved the 4s. Only difference is I find the 6s turn in a little faster going into curves. The 4s wore like steel, they lasted a long time and Great in the rain.

Wow! You were riding through my former stomping grounds, though I never rode street motorcycles for all the years I lived there, lots of dirt bike riding however, every single weekend.

That photo of the two bikes looks like my garage right now, minus the big fairing on the Road Glide (I have a RK). Same color combo on the FZ, I even have the blue levers but not installed yet.

I’ve run several sets of PR4s. Hoping someone tries the Bridgestone T33s and can report back on them. My current T32s are fine, need to find a previous post about when I mounted them to see how they did on mileage.

They were a wrestle to get on compared to the PR5 GT from before.
I was squeezin' the Charmin a few weeks ago at a Cycle Gear and was surprised how much stiffer the carcasses on the Bridgestones were compared to Dunlops and Michelins.
I just put S23s on my Superhawk and it was a chore.

Got out Sunday for 225 miles. Lots of bikes out for the first hot weekend.

Followed a group of 30 HDs with a Chevy Sierra chase vehicle. Wasn’t in much of a hurry so just followed along like the guy that cleans up after the Fractured Fairy Tale parade from the old Bullwinkle show.

Got a chuckle when the group would pass a bicyclist and the leader would pat his head (warning?) and then 29 other would follow suit. Pretty commical after the third time.

On my commute back from Houma, LA today I was cruising about 90mph on 90west and passed a black lifted Dodge truck. The truck then sped up to my speed and started to tail me. I sped up to 95mph and so did the truck. Figured he wanted to play games. Then he lit me up with blue LE lights that came from inside the windshield. Looked just like cop lights. My stomach dropped for a second as I thought he was undercover, the speed limit was 60mph. Then the lights went off and he slowed down, then sped up to tail me again, then slowed back down. One of them cajun boys got me. Anyways, I sped up and left him in the dust. Hope he doesn’t get busted with those…

That would not be amusing to me.
