The Motion Pro bleeder works way better than any of the vacuum pumps because you are pumping the fluid with the same force as if you were using your brakes. And if you have linked brakes the vacuum pumps are worthless. The Motion pro also has the 8mm wrench attached to it makes things much easier.
On some motorcycles ABS brakes can take more work because of the ABS module.
Since we don't get the FZ1 with ABS here in the states I'm not sure what type of ABS system Yamaha uses on the bike. But you may find some helpful information in these Google search results.
Another thought is it's possible Yamaha uses the same system on the FZ1 that they use on the FJR. So you could try looking up the procedure for the FJR ABS system.
