Blocking ais question

Ok so I've blocked the ais hose just before where the hose enters the air box just wondering if this will cause any dramas does the crankcase have a vent using the same hose? Forgive me if I sound stupid but I don't wanna be causing myself dramas down the line as this is the first bike I will be doing mods on this was part of the appeal of purchasing the Fz1n. Wanna make sure I'm doing it right.
 
That's pretty much exactly what I've done just had a mate ask me to check and see about maybe it being connected to crankcase ventalation or something like that.... But seems like many bike running around with this mod with no dramas so I'm all good thanks for the quick response.
 
I purchased the tap, bolts, washers and used Red Loctite.
I think everything cost me less than $10.00.
Since I had the motor out installation was a breeze.
I used a rubber plug that I had lying around in the garage to plug the connector to the air box.
It worked like a charm.

The difference after blocking was like night and day sounds awesome under deceleration now no more popping just a beautiful deep rumble nice pipe helps total cost under $5 :sinister:
