Braided lines routing.

Hi new here,
just joined forum need some help with brake line routing
Changed my lines from stock to braided hel lines.

I have routed the same as stock but my worry is there will be chafing
At the bottom yoke which I have temporary tie wrapped them to, to hopefully minimise the chafing just wondering what others have done maybe with some pics if you have any.

Oh and bike is gen 2 fz1n

Cheers guys.

i just added braided lines and came across the same concern. i just added about an inch of corrugated plastic tubing around the lines before i ziptied them. it allows the lines to slide through when turning and so forth but keeps them in place

That's pretty common on bikes. Most of them come with a plastic cover to keep from chafing. Just use some auto wire loom or similar to cover the lines. However I honestly doubt you'd ever chafe stainless lines...

Thanks for replies guys,

I've had to strip the t piece bracket off the part for the original lines under the yoke. And I've had to relocate
The horn as these two parts have lightly chafed the PVC outer layer of the lines.
Just don't like the idea of brake lines chafing fook that!

I will try upload pics tomorrow.
