Hi i recently got my bike back (2010 fz1n) from the mechanic and i noticed this cable hanging down near the rear shock, it almost seems to go up towards the pillion seat, though i could be wrong. Could someone please tell whaT its from/ where it belongs?

Just so you know i had a slipon installed and braided brake lines while it was at the mechanics.

Those are the EXUP cables that controlled a flapper valve in the stock exhaust. You can tie them out of the way or remove them.

This video will show you how to remove the cables if you want to do that, its very easy to do.

Thanks for that, i'll watch the vid tomorrow and maybe remove it later on.

You can either remove the cables from the servo motor or buy a eliminator plug and remove the servo itself.
