Carb questions / findings

So I bought a ultrasonic cleaner last week
30 min later my carbs were off,stripped and took a bath

Now when reinstalling i found

-pilot jet screws had different heights at the same screw-out ( there was a good 1/2 turn diff) I eyballed them equal
-slider spring no3 is softer than the other 3, I didn't shorten the springs when I installed Ivan's jet kit.
- cyl1 exhaust is about 80C colder at idle than the others, I must recheck after sync but ....

I must make a device to check the exact spring rate, I'm sure cyl3 will run lean.

Any thoughts and advise will be appreciated.

Use the idle drop technique to tune the pilot screw, yes check spring rate. if i were u id give the ivans way a shot, make sure you adjust your float height too. If you still have the heat issues just buy a set of springs, their cheap.
