Well I think I found my problem, stator bearing and a bad stator. Once I get another cup of coffee in my I'll take her apart a verify for sure.

Well the bad bearing probably explains that weird noise you were referring to.

I'm gonna do my best. I need to at least have a new gasket ready for when I break my case open so I have to order one first. Once it comes I will most certainly do the same tests in real time that they recommend on the site that Pete just posted.

Very nice site Pete! That guy is right near me in N.H. and his stator brand new is almost 100 bucks less than Partshark! Thats a friggin savings! I can get both the Rectifier and stator for 215 bucks if need be. I'm still waiting for Richie to get home. Jeez these kids! Where are they when you need em!?
